Round Chair – Bookcase Combination
I couldn’t find its provenance. It simply popped up and is making its rounds on FB and Pinterest, but I have to share it with you.
Update: It is the Sunflower Chair by He Mu and Zhang Qian

Sunflower Chair by He Mu, Zhang Qian
Sitting at the center of a blooming sunflower and being crowded by beloved books will definitely make reading something lingering in your mind all day. Designed by designer He Mu and Zhang Qian from Shanghai University of Engineering Science, Sunflower Chair has won “Redtory Design Award” for the 5th “Design for Sitting” Grand Prix.
It was presented during the Decade Retrospective of China Design “Design For Sitting” organized by Redtory, a Chinese design academy.

[...] The Sunflower Chair, or as I like to call it “The Paper Throne” was forged from dozens of books viciously read and crammed into the nooks and crannies of the built in book shelves. Too much? Yeah, perhaps I have been reading too much R.R. Martin. It’s no Iron Throne but it is a very cool chair for bibliophiles and while it looks like it could be a bit more comfy, it definitely makes it easy to get your hands on that next book.
