Zaha has an outsized sense of humor. This chaise looks like an oversized orifice probe. Important 20th century design tells me that the curator of this auction should probably be selling derivatives at GS. Maybe I’m the one with the too big sense of humor. Maybe there is a bidder who will think this chaise is a steal at $60,000. I hope so. I wouldn’t want to hear that the curator is now selling CDO’s [Creative Design Obligations] at GS.
